Founded back in 2007, the company was the creation of the talented Cake & Event Designer Sandy Rios-Monsante. Although she had established a career in Education, it was only a matter of time before she was drawn back to her culinary and artistic roots. After completing her formal training and a Masters in Confectionary Arts in Toronto - Canada, she then followed to working and collaborating with other experienced Cake Designers in the Industry. Her experience and talent then inspired her to create a company that offered Brides and clients a "Design Experience" for their events. Creating then a Cake and Sweets Boutique rather than just another bakery, Sugar Fancies was born. Focusing on quality versus quantity, we pride ourselves in providing a private, exclusive feel that permits time to get to know our clients one on one. Always using the finest ingredients like Nielsen-Massey Vanilla, Ghirardelli, Callebaut Chocolate and the fine Mokuba Ribbons to adorn our cakes we never sacrifice high quality for cost. All this key factors allow us to always deliver original creations with empahsis on exquisite taste and exclusive design.
